sparkplug number??

Does anyone know the correct part number for the '04 5.4 3V sparkplug?
Is it different from the '05 5.4 3 V sparkplug?
I am reading that the '04's have a problem with the plug falling apart when removed, but that the '05 does not have the problem.
Is there a difference in the plug itself?
Or in how they did the motor?
Or because in '05, they put anti seize on the threads to begin with?

Hi.

Where is the source of your info?

Because the problem still exists in the 06's !

NO changes - and Ford's latest remedial TSB indicates NO anti-sieze to be used ( See Quintin's and JP's posts). Which runs counter to some other knowledgeable sources, and even some spark plug manufacturer's advice w.r.t aluminum heads.

Cheers
Bubba

From: Georgia on my mind...

PZT-1F-F4s are the recommended service plug, but the PZT-2s are okay too. In some trucks, the PZT-2s may promote detonation and pinging, but I feel that's in extreme cases; I'm running PZT-2s in hot, humid *** southern Georgia on regular unleaded with not one lick of detonation or pinging, but I'm also bone stock.

DO you need some new plugs?

I have some out of my 07 with 12k miles on them. Pay shipping and they are yours.
