My new synthetic leather seat covers
I got the fronts put in today to much rain to work outside ,still got to work on the back seats, great fit well made, grey with black trim. My grey cloth covers had stains and water spots that wouldnt come out . I got them from Ebay here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...QQcmdZViewItem
Cost $295 shipped front and back seats . Let me know what you think.

They may look a bit better after they sit in the sun for awhile. I tried some GTcovers 'leather like' covers and they looked pretty good after they had been warmed up by the sun a few days. The stitching was terrible and the fit was just not quite right so I went with the real OEM leather back when it was cheap.
I considered the IGGY covers like you bought but at that time they didn't even have pictures of them yet.

Those look pretty nice. I think that I will take mine to the local upholstery shop soon and just have leather put on them once and for all.
It absolutely amazes me that FORD couldn't come up with a better cloth cover that would resist water staining.
I guess thats a great way to boost the sales of leather though.

Looks good. I considered going with the Iggee covers for a while, but they didn't come with a cover for the console section of the center seat. I ended up with a set from CoverKing although they were about $125 more. They came with a console cover, but I have to figure out how it's supposed to go on, so mine look just like yours with a few minor exceptions. Overall, I'm pleased with the fit and look and they actually make the seats a little more comfortable.
As for whether or not the synthetic leather feels like the real thing, no it doesn't. It's soft unlike the factory leather I've felt. It's also padded on the back so it adds just a bit more thickness and makes the seat that much more comfortable (that may just be all in my mind though).

I really like how they turned out, very easy install. They are looking even better just from sitting in them , breaking them in. the main reason for the velcro placement is the built in seatbelt on the front seats other than that you wouldnt need the velcro. The only problem I have is no piece for the center. I didnt feel like figuring out how to install that piece anyway. They dont really feel like real leather, very comfortable, no sliding or noise . I would recommend . Huge upgrade from my stained seats.

Has anyone tried coverking's neoprene version? It see that the leatherette doesn't seem to have a factory looking fit---from what I can tell. I have also seen the wet okoles---with a factory looking fit. So is it the material, or the manufacturer???? Costco.com has the neoprene coverkings for about $165.00. That is a sweet deal if they are anywhere close to the fit and finish of the wet okoles I have seen.
