4X4 2" lift Blistein shocks on 4X2

Anyone know if the 2" lift bilstein shocks fit on a 2 wheel drive? The website says they are only for the 4X4.

What is the difference between the shocks on the 4 wheel drive and two?

The Bilstein's won't fit 2wd yet, but they are supposed to be coming out with a 2wd version soon.
