I'm just going to build a set that are OEM, high quality LED, and have a PMW to make the upper LEDs operate as turn signals and running lights.

It's going to be a very slow moving project as I don't have a lot of time to work on it.

Duke is pretty ambitious when it comes to this type of project...

First, he makes his own HIDs utilizing correct equipment, aiming, and materials and now he's making his LED tails...

I see a side business if you want to take it on bud... I know your first customer well... he pays my mortgage.

How much would this run you if you were to build a second set for someone?

I got a question for you LED third light guys.

I really could care less on the red section, but how does the WHITE led section light up, as this will be what i will need to see in the bed in total darkness.

Are these third brake lights you get off of ebay just a direct plug in replacement or do you have to do some extra wiring ?

I'm nearly certain that it utilizes the same bulbs from the stock assembly. They are *not* LEDs for the bed illumination.

There is one model out there that does feature LEDs though... some here had tried it and said that it yielded nearly NO light into the bed... hence, the reason that the one that is mentioned within this thread is a bit more popular.

Well lets see how my project goes. Possibly I'll consider putting together a package for your LED taillights that'll make them work how we all want them to do.

However, I'll need to put together some very clear wording that this mod will only be for *off road use* as it won't be DOT approved.
