Ok Tom its going to be a little while with Christmas and everything Im almost broke if you know what I mean. BUt I will keep in touch with you. I live just south of Memphis in Hernando, MS and what power company to you work for?
I am finishing up the "pre qualification" Classes at SouthWest here in Memphis. Those classesare taught by MLGW Rep's. It's basically a Intro to Lineman Work. Pole-Top Rescue, Learning how to Climb the Poles, Knot Tying, The Class is designed to weed out the ones who dont have the "nuts" to climb a pole 50-90ft and be able to function. After completion of that class MLGW Hires you in and you start the LONG PROCESS of the Apprentice Lineman Program. (PoleJockey) As I know you are familiar with. ANy Tips? How long have you been in the "Line Work"?
Keep me posted if/when you decide you may wanna do the lift thing. I'm in no hurry as well.... Stay Safe!

Wow I wish you could recieve PM's but anyways trying to not get off topic
Ive been at my power company which is Northcentral EPA for 1 1/2 years which I love. We are a CO-OP which we buy our power through TVA then we distribute it. We currently have about 31,000 customers and growing everyday we as you would know are no where near as big as MLGW. Ive been to my 1st Lineman school in May in Meridan, MS. We climb alot where I work (line are dead) I love climbing and I have gotten pretty good at it. I am a apprentice though still but learning everyday. You will love this work as long as you liek working outside etc. Maybe next year I wanna go to the lineman rodeo around the south just to see what they are like. Anyways keep in touch!

Well mine hasnt been driving all day and it hasnt yet. But thats fine I was wanting to know if there is a 1" block for the back I can add to make it level? I know some people are running the 1.5" AAL which I liek but it looks like a little too much rake for me. SO can I add a 1" block to the rear and not hurt anything if it doesnt settle down? Will post pics tommorrow and the 35's go on Tuesday.

As far as these leveling kits settling, I think that spring may weaken a tad bit more affording a more "settling" situation. The LCA is placed at a steeper angle which puts slightly more stress on the coil. This along accounts for the difference in height over the short-term (less than 1/2 inch). Putting new suspension components (leafs/coils) on a vehicle gives you a settling period that can change as much as 2 inches. The larger blocks are a gamble in my opinion. Going from a 2 inch to a 3 inch may lead to more wheel hop or axel wrap problems. The more distance you put from the leaf to the axel will put more torque on the springs. I would go with an AAL for the rear.
