I have a 2004 F150 FX4 with the flow thru center console. I want to put a body lift on but dont know if it will be able to be put on if the linkage for the shifter shrinks. Is there anyone out there who knows about if its going to be a problem. Thanks

 

i think you have to put somekind of linkage extension on...i searched the forums on this and decided to just do a 2" Autospring leveling kit instead...again im pretty sure you ahve to extend the linkage but maybe someone else can confirm.

 

i have searched also but found a member that had the shifter with a body lift but he didnt know how it was taken care of cause a 4x4 shop did it for him. I have a 2" leveling kit but want more but cant afford a suspension lift. Thanks

 

There is no linkage on the flow thru shifter, it's cable operated.
