How to remove bed extender

Exclamation How to remove bed extender
This is a probably a dumb question but any help would be appreciated so, how do I remove the bed extender? I only want to remove it temporarily.

There are tabs that you have to pull to the side and than lift than repeat on other side. The tabe are located on the pivoting axis of the extender
