well i just installed it today i was bored and the perfect idea hit me... what i did was i ran the wire along one of the trim pieces on the back window into the cab under the interior trim all the way up past the fuse box on the passenger side, under the capet, up inside my dash, and it comes out of the dash where the defroster is. to mount it i took my portable gps and stuck it to the windshield, took my cb bracket and mounted the cb on the base of the gps bracket. hooked up my gps to its bracket and now it looks like it was a factory install. with no holes at all drilled in my dash. some of you may want to try this i will have pics on here in about a hour or so.

im going to when i can figure out a good way to do it... i cant fit the power wire in threw the defroster hole like i did the coax because its got the larger cigg plug on it but i plan on running them threw the dash somehow and i want it to look like it belongs somewhere right know i just dont know where that place could be.

Why not cut off the cigg plug and hardwire it directly into the fuse panel?
