Why 2 filters? It still allowing the same amount of air in.

I would cut a hole in the hood and turn the filters verticle. Everybody would be checking it out, then i would be cool.

Hi.

Bling. Closet Ricers love bling

Hell, y'know what, they missed the boat.

They should have plumbed one leg into the fender well, and leave the other exposed. Add a dryer duct diverter valve/flapper and voila, a Cold air intake for the summer, and a Warm air intake for those -0 degree winter days

Optional: in-cab remote (using an old manual choke cable - I still have one of those in my garage!)...

Please everyone with one 'o those puppies !!!

Cheers
Bubba

It needs a turbonator in each tube.

Wait a minute fellas. The concept is just fine. In terms of filtration, any air filter will benefit from twice the surface area to pull the same volume of air. The most efficient furnaces in a home have a very large filter. Physics tells me that the higher the surface area, the lower the flow rate which limits the drag through the media. The faster you move air through any filter media, the more drag you create (or resistance). That said, it is ugly.

I have been thinking about doing a intake in the fender well. How and what would I need to do it?

Hi.

Well, leaving it stock would certainly accomplish that .

Check out the S&B system threads up in the "Aftermarket > Exhaust & Intake Systems" forum...

Cheers
