My truck got broke into today!

So I'm new to the DFW metroplex. I just moved up here from Houston, TX right before new years. Today I was over in Dallas eating lunch with a co-worker and one of our vendors. I just bought a Garmin nuvi 350 GPS unit two weeks ago and had it in my truck. Not anymore... We were eating lunch at Bone Daddy's (great place) and I come out to my truck at 1:30 and notice that my brand new Garmin is gone. In daylight no less! It looks like they shoved a screwdriver under my drivers side door handle to get in. Welcome to my new home huh? I'm madder than a skinhead watching the Jefferson's.

I have pics If I can figure out how to post them.

Just upload them to the gallery here on F150 online (you'll have to login and put them in your gallery).

Then use the img tags after right mouse clicking on the pic, going to properties and copying the address.

The last time I ate at Bone Daddy's was at the one off of I-75 and north of the LBJ. I didn't get broken into that day, but from what I remember, my waitress was quite attractive........

That's the same place. There are only two one ther and one in Austin. I think the criminals use that distraction to their advantage. I am disgusted this happpened in broad daylight in a busy area.

Anyone have any good recommendations on a good alarm system that won't cost a fortune?
