Wow thats funny, the same thing happened in the town I work in, it was all over the news this morning, vandals spray painted 27 cars including a cop car on one street. Organized crime has become big problem, spray painting from town to town.
Good luck getting it cleaned up, the local news says "experts" recommend using rubbing alcohol, mineral spirits or WD-40 to remove the paint, however I'm sure Rockpick would have the better answer, as for me I would suggest a claybar.

If it's as cold there as it has been here, it probably isn't stuck very well.
I would hit it with a high pressure wash first and see how much of it will just blow off.
Laquer thinner on a rag followed by a wash and good wax job would be next.
I would think it would come off without having to resort to wet sanding. Especially if it had a good coat of wax on it before it was applied.

That is so messed up. Fu#@ing punks!! I'd claim it on my insurance under comprehensive and take it to a body shop.
My truck spent one night out side because I had a trailer hooked up to it. The one night I left it outside some punks emptied a fire extinguisher on it, then left me the empty extinguisher laying on the truck. I swear I'll punish the hell out of of them if I ever find out who it was. No, damage thank god. Some people have no respect.

Man that sucks. You can also try aircraft wax. You should be able to find it your local municipal airport. I am a helicopter mechanic and we often have aircraft vandalized and add stuff over the paint for air shows. It would get real time consuming if we had to sand and repaint all the time. I will get the name brand from work tomorrow and post. It romes paint from paint pens and spray paint if you had a good coat of wax on before it happened. I also use it on my truck and the wifes 06 stang to remove tar.
