Need A replacement Audiophile Speaker?

I had this in the speaker section, but there does not seem to be much traffic there. So figured I would post here.

I have an 04 FX4 SCrew, and it sounds like my front passenger speaker is blown. I pulled it out and it seems that since I have the AudioPhile upgrade, that these front speakers are a component set. It has a tweeter, then on the main speaker grill (that hold it in place) it looks to have a crossover built into it and then the small round speaker that seems to be about 4 inches round. I just need the round speaker, the tweeter is fine and the crossover is fine. Anyone have one of these speakers sitting around they want to sell? It has to to be the type I described above, because I looked on Ebay and found a bunch, but none had the crossover and smaller speaker. They all looked like some 5X7s I think. I am assuming these are the speakers for the non-audiophile sound systems. Or does anyone know if I can replace the blow speaker with an aftermarket one and still use the factory crossover and tweeter. I would want to just remove the blown speaker and attach the aftermarket one to the existing screen that is holding the current speaker. I really do not know what size this little speaker would be. Any assistance would be great, thanks!

Think it's time for a speaker upgrade! If one went, the others aren't far behind. Maybe call the ford dealership. I had to do that with my grand cherokee, but only because there was not an aftermarket 2" mid-range speaker.
BTW, Hook 'em Horns!!!

Yeah I was thinking about it, but I liked the sound of my stock system, was never unhappy with it. If I can just replace the 4 inch speaker I think I will be good, I am assuming that is possible, anyone? I did have one member say he would sell me his stock ones, but he has not responded with a price yet. I have seen aftermarket 4 inch speakers for about $80 a pair, not to bad. Anyhow, I would rather not change the whole speaker out (Getting rid of the crossover and all), don't feel like paying for a new component set right now. Thanks for the response! Yup Hook-em!

They did not have an option for "Speaker" not even "Stereo" in the part pull down menu. Thanks though.

there is a pulldown for cd player/radio, if they have the radio odds are they have the entire vehicle and speakers give them a call or e-mail them.

WOW. The SAME speaker blew out last night. Front Pass side, what a coincidence. I have the audiophile w/sub as well. What can you guys recommend for replacements without having to get an amp, and go the whole 9. I just want a wortwhile difference.

These are what I have in my doors with the audiophile system and they sound great. You could also keep an eye on eBay for a set of factory take-out door speakers.

I picked up a set of Infinity Kappa 5 1/4 components that sound great for my front doors. Have seen them on ebay for half of what I payed at a local stereo shop. I have been very happy with them. I just ordered a set of adapters from crutchfield which are 6X8 sized plastic with 5 1/4 cutouts. mounted the tweeters in the factory locations an velcroed the crossover behind the sound insulation.

I had a member contact me about a whole set, front stock (Crossover and tweeters included) and back for about $67 shipped. Took him up on it, at least I have spares if any of the others go out, and I get to stay stock. So thanks for the info.

Josiah, you might want to reach out to jawjaboi, sounds like he has some to.
