oem leather

yesterday i went to my local ford dealer and asked how much gor the leather skins for my 2005supercab f-150. I told the parts service guy that my interior was tan but i had a few black pieces, they couldnt find the prices on the tan leather but he told me that the black leather wouldnt look ok in my tan truck because i already had a few black things to make it "two tone" do yawl think that the black leather would look ok in a tan interior? They quoted me well over 2,000 dollars for the entire interior, just each headrest in the front goes for 170 apiece.I know that i can buy the same kit for $300 on newtakeoffs.com but i want to make sure that it would look ok, Thanks

For $2000......there is NO WAY I would take a chance on an opinion from us. I would have to see pictures. Maybe someone here could photoshop a tan interior with black. My guess....it would look terrible!

i would appreciate that but im not gonna spend $2,000 at the dealer when i can get the same leather seats from newtakeoffs.com for $300 but i was just wondeing if black leather would look ok/nice in a tan interior even though i have some black pieces that would make it go along with it kinda like a two tone interior, thanks for your comments.

Check ebay. You probably won't find them for $300, but maybe not to much more. I just did a search and found some oem tan leather.

I dont know about a two tone but I have seen a lariat that was Arizona biege and had black int (of course that means the dash was black too) but it looked kick ***. I wish I could have found one when I was looking for my truck. What color is your truck? If you could swap some dash parts to black it would probably look good.

the outside is dark torreador red, the interior is tan but the tray on top of the dash, the radio and radio bezel and cup holders are all black, the pieces that are wood on lariats on the door are black on my truck

For about $50 a upholstery shop can solve that problem for you.
