Exclamation Anyone trust buying these cheap LT handles???

So i was searching on ebay last night and came across these handles....

http://search.stores.ebay.com/Car-Pa...020616QQsofpZ0

Then i noticed it said this...

Brand New in the Box - Fit and Quality Guaranteed!
Meets or exceeds OEM specifications

Sooo would you trust them? Think they will stand up and fit the same? Its a killer deal but there has to be a reason why. What are your thoughts?

I'm gonna buy the real deals in the next day or two.The price of those aftermarket handles is tempting but it's easier for me to buy the LT handles already painted from the factory. That way I won't have to wait for a bodyshop to paint them and the paint is sure to match.
If I wasn't in a hurry to get them on my truck I would consider getting the aftermarket handles.

I just happen to find these this weekend and was wondering the same thing, since I have been thinking about the LT handles for a few months now. Hopefully someone will have bought them and chime in on how they are.

One thing comes to mind....you get what you pay for. But then again...you never know. I'd probably buy one and check it out. Then if you don't like it, you've only dropped about 20 bucks.

so if it cost you 50 bucks to have them painted...your only have 150 stuck into it and it will cost you at least 250 to buy the handles through ford. And....the lts dont come in red.......so id have to have them painted anyways.

I almost pulled the trigger on these today...but im afraid they wont fit right or something. Just wish someone out there has tried these before.

I will volunteer to get the tailgate one and try this out. The down side is I have to have them painted to match my wedgewood blue.

Screw it, I went ahead and got them all! Probably will be kicking myself in the butt later.

I doubt you will find a bodyshop that will prep and base coat/clear coat them for $50. I bet it will be at very least 2 hours labor ($90+) and plus material (probably another $50). So figure around $150 to paint. At that point they are the same price as pre painted factory LT handles...and you know they fit and the paint is right.

The only way these are a good deal is if you can paint them yourself OR factory LT handles don't come in the color you need.

Ive got some connections

The ONLY thing im concerned about is that the chrome holds up and the handles operate and fit the same as oem.....thats my only concern. Even if it cost me 100 bucks to paint them...with needing red it would be worth it as long as the handles are the same or better than oem like they claim....

i have checked with the dealer here and they will paint and clear all 5 for $100......if you can buy all 5 for $82.95 plus shipping.....total for $100 and $100 for paint....the OEM lt handles are $300 shipped......so saving $100 is worth it to me if they are good quality.....so we will see when jpetre gets his in.....

Virtually 200 saved. OEM are like 275 and if you need them paintd thats another 100 bucks....

I called them and the said the only reason they are cheaper is becasue they are made overseas. The brand is APX..... Still worried that the chrome wont hold up or something....who knows...

the $300 i was talking about was smokestone lt handles already painted.......but if the chrome fails then just sand and paint, still saving money i guess

They charged 40.00 for shipping so total is 123.00 for all 5 to my door step. I would have to have the factory LT handles and have them sanded and repainted to work with my truck, so I am saving about 200.00. It is worth it for me to give it a shot. I would love the LT handles, but a bit too much money for me.

I will let you guys know about quality when I get them. Worse case I send them back and pay the 10% restocking fee.
