Went to the track tonight......

Aight, I just got back from the track and the truck did awesome! Track is located at 1200ft and it was about 75 out. My previous time with stock wheels/tires, non intercooled kit, and troyer tune and pulley was average of a 9.6 with a best of a 9.5 which I could never get again. I also got off the line PERFECT in the 9.5 and 9.6 runs with no wheelspin. Now with the addition of the intercooler, and a stock roush tune I went back out. Tonight, they didn't bother putting sticky smell good stuff on the track on the first run it spun like crazy, had to get out of it, and get back in and I ran a 9.7. The next 2 runs it hooked up pretty good after a good heating of the tires and I ran a 9.34 @75.5mph, and the 2nd run I got a LITTLE wheelspin and ran a 9.42 @74.6. To knock off 2 more tenths is pretty good, especially with the early shifting stock roush tune. The last run, it lit em up all the way out of first and it was horrible. I didn't even think to run it in 4 wheel drive and just nail the throttle and go. I'll have to try that next time whenever I get a tune. I got some pretty good looks, and killed quite a few rice burners. If you run an altitude corrector, that's a 9.22 or a 14.47 1/4 mile. There was a new GT 5 speed with a tune and exhaust running 8.9's so I wasn't far from him with a 6000lb truck. I'm happy with that so far!

Sounds good. Keep it in one piece.

IMO trucks should haul in more than one way!

My bud was there, but he didn't bring his cam or I would have took some shots. It was kind-of a last minute decision to go so I didn't get the camcorder. Whenever I get a new tune and next time I go, I'll be prepared!!

And RockPick......I hate you too.......

HAHAHA j/k!
