Project bankrupt

Alright so ive been doing my homework for the past 8 or 9 months and been saving money... almost there. So probably in about the next 5... maybe 6 weeks im going to purchase my lift and everything else. Im going with the Rize 8 inch, King Coilovers and piggybacks(still waiting to hear on price), 6" Deaver leaf springs, 4" blocks, 3" body lift w/ gap guards, 4.88 gears, OUO traction bars, Total Chaos upper control arms, and steel braided brake lines. Whewww I know yall are thinkin im insane after reading this now . Im ordering everything through one guy so im looking at about $8,000. Thank god im not married ...Okay so im going with 40x15.50R20 Toyo Mt and not sure what wheels yet. Prob XD Series Diesel Chrome.

Is there anything else yall can think of while im spending all of this $$$$ that ill need to help with wear and tear?... Or to preform better?

Also Im going to have Marty and them down at TruckToyz do all the installing which will be like an 8 hour drive and it will prob take 2 days to do everything. So since im gonna be down there a few days... Is there anyone on here that would want to meet up down there and check out each others trucks in person?

I really hope you're not blowing smoke, this sounds like a great setup. Where do you work and are they hiring? When are you heading to Truck Toyz.

So your going with 13" of lift in the back and 11" on the front? Setup sounds great and you must be getting a pretty good deal on this stuff. Have you figured in labor as well?

No 13 in the back and 13 in the front(cranking the Kings). Yeah I mean its not an amazingg deal but im saving a few hundred. Yeah im guessing labor will be around $1,200- $1,500. Ill call them and talk to them about it.

Im still tryin to figure out if I should go through them for the tires and rims. So im not spending a fortune on shipping costs.

Sounds like a bad *** truck. Cant wait to see it. You may want to do 13 in the front and 10 or 11 in the back, if you want it to sit level. I dont mean to confuse you or anything but you could almost do a solid axle for that price. Have you looked into doing a solid axle conversion?

I agree with kalebarellano, I think that if you are going to be spending $10K then you might as well think about doing a solid axle swap. It would be about the same cost and would be more durable than the IFS. Just food for thought

There is a place in San Antonio called Espino Rim and Tire. I got my setup there and it was really cheap. It is on your way, I would call and check to see what they can do for you. You will NEED an Edge programmer to recalibrate your speedo. Your drive back is going to SUCK. The trip back up is going to take you 10 to 11 hours you have to drive slow after you do your gears. I want to see your truck, stop in Waco on your way back!
