Hard to say since I have not had both, so I will only comment on the Banks. It does not take "stepping on it" to know it is there. It has a nice deep sound throughout. Some may liken it to a "drone", but I think the sound has a much lower tone than I would describe a drone to be. I doubt you will be displeased with either setup. From everything I have read on here, the Banks is louder at all other areas other than "stepping on it" though.

I have the Banks Single on my trunk and the sound is well . From a idle all the way to the top of the RPM range it sounds good. I think the drone noise everyone talks about happens when you have a cold air intake. I do know that with my CAI and my tuner that has given the exhaust a little deeper note. Now construction wise the Banks kit is very well made and everything fits together nicely. It took me about 1.5 hours to complete the project.

Now for in the cab it will be a definite increase, but it is not so much to where you will have a headache after a long drive. I also like the massive polished tip, it looks good. Also, Banks has a dual kit in addition to the single. So you have both options from them.

Anything is better than stock, that muffler could be used as a boat anchor.

I was beside a Chevy between several stop lights just yesterday that had a Banks Monster. I couldn't tell a whole lot of difference between the sound levels of it and my Magnaflow.

I have the Magnaflow and have had it for 40k miles. Still like it and it sounds great at WOT, but mellow at idle and around town speeds.

I love my banks monster, its only quiet at idle, at every other rpm you know its there. It sounds great with no other engine mods, im sure it will sound greater with an intake or chip. recommed it 100%

Look at the MBRP kits. They make some of the best stuff out there right now. There prices are not horrible, quality is great, and sound is kinda between a flowmaster 40 series and a gibson.
