I am pretty sure he will come back here soon with something that nobody did before like he did. A lot of people here says his truck made only 525RWHP but everybody forgot that he's pushing 12-13psi only.
Anyway the whipple won't let him reach his goal of 750-800rwhp even with more boost. I heard he's getting a ...

One more time he will be the first one taking his truck to next level.
He's a good man, very honest and he was one of the very few who had the ***** to buy a truck, try to learn something and make things happen. What's the problem if he didn't know what a transfer case was ??? He never had a 4X4 !! Will that make any difference ??? He never iniciated a thread with the title " Rafa26 knows everything !!"

Come on guys, he was a great enthusiast and a big motivation for us Ford truck owners.

The sad part is that a lot of people here prefers that things goes wrong with others members. A lot of jealousy in the air, BTW, the worst feeling a human being can have.

Thanks.

He is far from honest!, when he got put on the spot where did he go, he ran, why do you think he not here now! As for trying to learn, not much learning there, like many ppl said he wrote a fat check to "learn"!

i have recently talked to him. he is researching(without spending) a single turbo setup.

i sent him to a good source of info for getting the right spool the first time.

take away the parasitic drag of a blower and add that to his 525. = 600 or so.

attacking him is pointless in my mind. i agree he should have simply used the iron block and used a procharger or turbo, but he was trying something new.

if it had been successful, more than one of you bagging on him would have followed in his footsteps.

there is a maximum rpm they can turn. 12,000 is typical. if you figure displacement and rpm that is the limit.

a 3.4l screw charger will be more than enough.

but IMO a custom sheet metal intake and a pro-charger or turbo is a lot easier. you get the benefit of no real losses from a turbo.

he is exploring a 76mm or 80 mm single turbo. depending on the trim levels it's more than anough for 330 cu.in. / 800hp.

The article also says that they "...installed a modified direct clutch assembly that will accept an 8-plate clutch pack to increase strength in fourth and fifth gears." That's a new trick for the 4R75W.

I don't think it is fair to knock a guy for trying something new. He still has a boat load of Hp. His goal was solid. And he trusted somebody with a solid reputation to make it happen. So if the means to achieve the goal was flawed, the blame is with the doer of the deeds. Hell, we can't all be know it all mechanics. If the expense was not worth the result, I'd expect a man of integrity to say, hld on bubba, you don't need all that.
