Lighted Moon Visor

I was wondering if anyone had one of those lighted moon visors... I really want one for my truck, and I haven't seen an 2004+ (NBS) F150 yet with one.

It doesn't have to be lighted... but I just want to get a general idea of how one would look.

I know I am going to have to get it painted and everything... I can get one for about $275 and after it's painted my body color, I'm looking at around $400. Which isn't bad because I like how it looks.

I love those visors, on a truck made before 97. Personally, I haven't seen one that looks good on the newer trucks.

Yeah, they're pretty ugly. I can't imagine them improving gas mileage much as well.

LOTS of mexicans around here put that on their trucks.... Of course, mexicans slamp anything on their trucks and they end up looking like crap anyway...

Oh well.

Is there ANYTHING in the JC Whitney catalog that the black 250 DOESN't have pasted on?????? WAY TACKY!

There's a reason why you don't see many 150's with those...., but it's been said in the above posts already.....

Hmm... then what would you guys recommend as a mod?

Rims/Tires are out of the question.... so are stereo/video systems. Also none of those 5-10 hp out of the box mods... those are a waste... and that includes air filters and exhaust systems. That also includes lowering, bags, etc.

I like my black grill and surrounds... because it matches everything else... and I am not doing a chrome conversion either.

I think the only other thing I could get would be side steps... but I really don't like them. If my truck was a 4x4 or sat higher, then maybe... but that isn't my case.

Here's two: Fix the paint chip, and add a 2" leveling kit. The 8' bed looks good with a 2" front lift.

I already fixed the paint chip with some rattle can duplicolor... came out fine.

I like the rake of the truck. :o

I'm sure hard to please sometimes....

I was also thinking of a nice black grill guard with some PIAA lights...

That my friend is what we used to call shrimp boats back in my high school days.

You can see them coming down the street with all this sh!7 hanging off of em. If there was more room on the truck, there would be more sh17.
