The turn signals I'm not sure about but I don't think the heat would work unless you have heated back glass because I think they share a switch. I could be wrong since I don't have either (heated back glass or heated mirrors with turn signal) so hopefully someone else with them can clarify.

If you look at these instructions for installing after market ones, they say that if you don't already have turn signal mirrors you have to run some wire, but not far. I have heard from others there aren't wires for heating or power-folding if you didn't get that option factory. But, for signals, should be an easy wire run. http://www.f150store.com/graphics/pr...40_335-041.pdf

I got a pair of Muth Signal mirrors on E-bay for my '05 FX4 that had the non-signal stock mirrors. Wiring for the signals is in a harness that runs up behind the door panel to the mirrors. The muths come with enough wire that you just cut to a length to splice in to the factory wire/harness. There is a ground wire that bolts in and that's it. It took maybe 2hrs to remove both front door panels, remove the old mirrors, install the new signals, and button back up. The Muth's come with very detailed instructions in bona fide English written by a native speaker, so you don't have to deal with your typical asian influenced translation instructions (Chinglish). I really like the Muths...way more cool than those stock yellow little lights...the Muths are bright red left/right arrows that a very noticeable. The mirror itself is high quality...you can't go wrong with a set! If you want heated mirrors, you will have to run some wire...details are in the Muth instructions as well...I hope this helps.

Nope but at least your closer to the 4x4 and dirtbike trails.

I'd head out that way myself but my wife works for the Surrey School District and I work at YVR so it would be way to long a commute.

Not all F-150's have the same wiring in the mirror, King Ranches have puddle lamps which are not prewired for even on a loaded lariat.

I believe the trucks with the whole back window, no slider, have the mirror defrost in the Rear Window Defroster button.
