After I posted that I realized that his brother's truck was an 06 and he had 33's on it... Anyway, I KNOW that I saw your truck one day about 2 months ago sitting at the Buffalo Plaza on 356 in front of the Subway. I know it was yours because I actually stopped and looked at it to see how big the tires were cause it looked awesome. Maybe I'll see you around again someday, I work in Freeport and occasionally drive up to the Wendy's or Arby's in Natrona Heights for lunch. Small world.

My truck was at buffalo plaza about 2 months ago. I was at the dentist. Well maybe I'll see you around.
You have no pics of your bronco??? How do you like the 4.56 gears. Thats my next modification. Pulling a camper I need deeper gears. When the overdrive is On it shift to much. I got a price of it was either $1000.00 or $1100.00.

No, I don't have any pics of the Bronco, I'll have to take some and add them to my gallery. It's strickly an off-road woods beater due to extensive rust, but it has a very healthy 351W, used 33's, an 8" well casing pipe front bumper, and a fresh rust-oleum rattle can paint job. We stripped everthing that wasn't necessary to save weight, but it still has windows and heat for hauling wood in the winter. I joke that it's my dog's truck because he won't let anyone drive it unless he is at his command post on the front seat. He is VERY proud of his truck! LOL

As far as the gears, I have had them in for two weeks now and I love them. I went to 4.56's because of hauling my car trailer, I want this truck to last for a very long time and the tall tires were brutal on the transmission. I am running about 2100rpm @70mph. I got a quote from Meridian Off-Road in Butler for $1700 for installation of 4.56 Precision gears, Bigfoot Off-Road quoted me right around $1400 for the same. I didn't check with anyone else because I decided to just do it myself, and ended up with about $750 total for all gears, seals, and fluids. Installation was fairly straightfoward but is very labor-intensive. It took me about 4 days worth of work (spread out over 2 weeks) to get everything done, but I could probably do it again in about 2-3 days now that I know what I am doing.

Just curious, with the 35's when you go off roading or over large bumps do they tend to rub really bad? And also is it possible to mount a 35"x12.5"x20" MT tire on a 20x10 rim? Or would you have to go with a wider tire?

With a 10" rim, with just a leveling kit, I would almost guarantee it would rub... I wouldn't try it. I'd go with an 8.5 or 9" rim...

I have 20" x 8.5" wheels and I do not rub, even going over large bumps unless I have the wheel turned at an exact angle where it is closest. Other than that, no rubbing at all.

I highly doubt that you can fit the 20x10 wheel with 35's with only a leveling kit.

Make that two of us, I don't even think 33s would fit without rubbing.

What?!?! You're all wrong!

Of course you can.... I'm running it with no rubbing issues whatsoever.... on MudTerrains, mind you.

you can run a 20x10 but you need alot of backspace to make it fit, kinda a waste of buying wide rims IMO, when i think of 10 wide wheels i expect them them to stick out a bunch, but whatever works i guess.

Sure you can with a goofy backspacing.

I had a 2.5" Daystar kit + 18x9s with 5.5" backspacing on 33x13 Nitto Terra Grapplers and even than I had to trim because it was rubbing so bad.

THIS thread gives you all the information you need.

As for vipz's inquiry on the last page of that thread, he was correct in post #41 even though I never got back to him.

Drop me a PM if you have any further questions.... If I don't know, I'll find out for you.

I agree that a wide rim is pointless if you dont have it stick out (or dont have adequate backspacing). I was thinking about going with this setup: 20x10 Mazzi Hulks (Black or chrome not sure yet). This member in the picture below has the 20x10 setup with a 4.25" backspacing on his rim, looks amazing but sticks out just a tad too far for me. I contacted a distributor of Mazzi and they said they can get me a set of Mazzi's with 4.9" backspacing which is about dead center in the middle of the rim. In the pic he also has Baja ATZ's 325-50-20 tires. I would rather go with 305-55-20 aka 33"x12.5"x20". Im a little skeptical about the mazzi hulks though. I heard they arent a good quality rim? And I recently saw the Eagle 064B which also look amazing! Let me know what u guys think! I need as much advice/opinions as I can get!
