I was thinking about getting a HD grille, but after looking at a few trucks with them I have changed my mind.

Now I am looking to get the FX2 grille and LT handles. How do you thing this combo would look on my truck? Also should I paint the FX2 grille or leave it alone? Right now I am leaning towards painting it.

 

i think both grilles look sharp...i do not like the lt handles though, i would go with ptm handles.

 

go with ptm handles, not any chrome on your truck, they would look out of place, and for the grille it would look good ptm as well

 

Unless you buy an FX2 grille that is a takeoff.... a new one comes unpainted from the factory. I painted mine a satin black. I was thinking about the Harley grille for a while myself, but decided on the FX2 because the only thing chrome on my truck is the step bars Ford put on them, which I plan to replace with black someday. I think it looks nice and I'd get it again... I just wish it wasn't plastic.. but what can you do.. all their grilles are!

I think it would look nice on your truck with PTM handles!

I was going to say unless you want a FX2 grille that is painted a ugly grey than you're going to need to paint it.

 

imo, i like the grey the fx2 grill comes in ,makes the grill stand out alittle more then if it was black ,i bought my fx2 from this guy if u stil want one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...QQcmdZViewItem, i too woukld like to get some lt handles to match the chrome 20's i want

 

Just to let people know.... the grille DOES NOT COME PAINTED... it is a grey primer that is on the grille... That was a painted grille on that ebay link... he said it came off a fx2...

Thump show people the picture of your truck and the fx2 not painted... I know you had one posted on here a couple months ago...
