2004 Scab Fx4... & River/Water Crossing

just a quick question for any Ford tech out there...

how tightly sealed are the front and rear ends on the 04 F150..

I've crossed a few rivers lately and want to know If I need to change out the gear oil?

my old Toyota had breather vents on top of the diff and I relocated them higher with tubing... do I need to do anything like that on the Ford?

Thanks

If it's been completely submerged under for more than 10 minutes, I would suggest changing fluids.

Even with the fording kits (relocated breathers etc...

After deep water crossings, it is best to do fluid changes as soon as possible...
