Added new tail lights - Ebay

Well, picked up these from Ebay last week, had a little time to prep them before installing them on the truck this weekend.

Altezza lights

Put a bead of silicone on the entire inside edge of the light housing, hopefully it will prevent any leaking. Guess we'll see.

Pics of the install..

So yeah, we'll find out if they leak. Took the truck to the wash last night, and still nothing, so cross your fingers.

I see the man is all about chrome judging from the putco's 4x4 sticker and it looks like even chrome trim... I hear they make chrome paint now you should look into it

Yeah, I don't get it. Really, I don't.

Guys post up pics of their mods and their trucks, which I understand puts you at risk for getting flamed by others based on what you've done. Honestly, I could care less if anyone replies at all, good or bad. I don't post up the pics for a popularity contest within f150online.com, nor do I care if people give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. It's great that everyone posts what they've done so others can get ideas for new projects with their own trucks, myself included, which I think is the whole idea for posting in the first place. No one really cares if you like what someone does to their truck, nor do they care if you don't.

But hey whatever.....it's my truck, my idea, and based on the crappy luck everyone on here has had with LED tails (MOST I mean), this was a nice alternative to having a more expensive pair fail beyond belief. I've gone thru two pairs of more expensive tails and have been extremely disappointed with each.

Anyways, fire away with the criticism, I'm a big boy, I can take it and dish it out like anyone else.

It just looks like a truck from the 90's imo. I really really do not like that much chrome, I'm pretty strong opinionated about that and wish I could see it in the light that you see it. It appears you love it and that really is all that matters.

I just wish those damn Euro lights were illegal. Every time I'm behind a car with those things, I cannot see a thing. They are only visable at night.

but yeah, as long as ya like 'em I guess

I thought that too originally, but realized that, compared to my LED ones I had, these lit up way more in daytime or nighttime. The other ones I had barely could be seen in the daytime.

I think the biggest reason for the dislike of euro's is because of all the damn ricers that have them on there POS 89 honda CRXs and Civics, ect.

I personally believe that on the right car, they look good (Audis, BWMs, Saabs, ect.) But notice something.. all those cars I list here are from Europe =)

There not my thing, but I don't necessarily hate on them like some people do. If it floats your boat, then keep paddlin'.
