I'm looking to do a cluster swap, XLT to Lariat, and can get an 04 Lariat at a good price. Besides the programming mileage and as-built data, and adding the buttons, this should work? Or did anything change between the 04 and 06 models to make them not compatible?

Should be fine, someone just found out the 07 clusters cannot be programmed for the earlier dates however. Not sure how solid that is, but he's selling his cluster because of it. Good luck and how much for everything (cluster, programming, etc).
