I want to pick up a set of PIAA or KC lights and retrofit HID's in them, but the beam pattern is so narrow. I'd like a wide beam and still want circular projectors, not rectangles. Do the slimlites have a wide angle view?

How hard of a retrofit was this? I have thought about doing this in the past but was too worried about the f**king something up.

I have the driving Slimlites and they are wider than my friend's with PIAA's, not too much wider but noticeable.

it was reallly easy my light use h3 bulbs and i just screwed em in place and cut a larger hole in the back so the wires could come out and it worked great it was pretty simple and i have cheap lights so i wasnt really worried about f**ing them up all together the lights plus HIDS for a pair cost 110$
that is a dirt cheap way to make HID's lol
