I don't remember who wrote the thead about turning off the seat belt chim,but thanks. They stated it was in the owners manual I have a 07 FX4 and you connect the seat belt and disconnect it 10 times and it shuts of the chim. Anyway I don't have to do this anymore! The light comes on and then just cuts off with no chim. I don't know if this is a fluke or what but it is awesome. I do where a seat belt 99% of the time but while I'm hunting in the woods I do not so this is great.F.Y.I. I had an 01 4x4 Lariat and all you had to do was touch the red release button and it would tunn it off.

 

Keep in mind if you want the passenger seat to turn off you need to do the same thing on the passengers side.

 

I taxi people around the campus, and that stuff rings away... it's annoying... I need to turn it off one of these days.
