got my hid kit in. have a question.

ok friday my kit finally came in. it was a direct plug in kit with a relay. the light output is great but i did notice that it almost seems as if they are not aimed high enough. it amost seems like my high beams went out further with the stockers but im afraid to aim them up because i dont want to blind ppl with the low beams.

another weird thing i noticed is if i have my fog lights on and i switch to high beams the fog lighs turn off normally, BUT when i go back to low beam the fogs come back on but the headlights stay on high beam untill i turn the fog lights off. anybody else have this issue with there kit?

i will post some pics of the light output tonight when its dark

here is the kit i put in

you need to provide a constant ground to the fog lights. this can be achived by following this http://www.landstromsfoundry.com/Tec...Foglights.html
itll take you about 10 min and cost about $1.50. i had the same problem with mine and this fixed it

I bought some 6000k a while back and I think that is the best color to go with, not to blue and not to white.

Which ones did you get?

HIDs, bulbs wont produce half that ammount of light. and the blue bulbs will look like crap and have no light output

I am running a bixenon kit with H13 type bulbs in the headlights (so yes it has high and low beams) and the fogs I am running just a regular HID kit with 9145 type bulbs. (check my gallery for high/low beam comparisons)

Both kits i got from Ebay seller HID4U, both kits are made by Xentec, and both kits are 6000k color temp.

Quick Reply: got my hid kit in. have a question.
