so ive found a place to get 100 octane race gas... right here in the san diego base. btw im not navy, im an army veteran, but my wife joined the navy when i got out.... soooooo im now the military spouse LOL!! any hoo ive done the math and i want to mix about 5 gallons of 100 octane with 15 gallons of shell 91 everytime i fill up... that give me over 93 octane

my main question could this damage my engine and shouldnt i get benefits, also i have a 93 performance tune on my truck and have been pinging bad

 

i would honestly just spend the 50 bucks and get a 91 perf tune man, it will save you all the hassle and the worries about your engine...and end up saving you money in the end.
