Magnaflo DI/DO Pics & Sound Video
Went to the muffler shop today. Ended up getting rid of the SI/SO Flowmaster 50series, and went with the DI/DO Magnaflow. I love it! Sounds a little better than the Flowmaster, and throttle response seems to be a little quicker with dual's in and out.
Here are some pic's, and even a movie sound clip if I can get it to work!
Cheap Digital Camera... kind of windy, and the microphone on the camera couldnt handle the loudness of exhaust, but you can hear a few good throttle rev's with out a lot of distortion on some of it.
Im sold... MagnaFlow from hear out!
Enjoy,
Im going to take her for a spin again!

Yes, in a way, because both pipes run into the same muffler, it balances out the flow between both the left & right bank.
Atleast, that was my understanding!
I went ahead and replaced the 02 sensors while I was at it! Truck is running great!

Hmmm.... I like mine better, cant hear your sound clips so well, Darn Whine coming from your engine.... Sounds like a vacum leak!!
Nice truck Man! Love the SuperCharger, if I'd researched a little more I would have gone with the 5.4 and a super charger, but 04 was the first 5.4 3valve year, and I new the ol 4.6 was tried and true. Just didnt realize they had such a limited aftermarket.
great Minds think alike!

FX4 Matt - OMG. Just noticed where you are from. Sleepy hollow Ocean City. Our family used to vacation there when I was a kid. Haven't even seen the name for 40 years. I imagine a lot has changed there since the 60's.
The DI/DO works good. I had the Flowmaster 2 1/2" DI/SO to 3" on my 2000 SC. Keeps the stock looking appearance and, as does the DI/DO, eliminates the need for an H, X or Y pipe. My new 2008 Y pipe looks way better in its design than did the older one. Amost looks like a proper 2 into 1 Y pipe. Not sure yet if I'll make any changes soon. So far so good, but always looking for more, right?
