Changing the brakes is not that hard. The only problem, is that the rotors need turning.

never go to a dealership to get a service.... i went to get a 45,000 mile tune up and they said i needed this and that changed and i went to a local garage and they said they inspected everything but the only thing that needed to be changed was oil change and a tire rotation.

At 30K I changed the fuel filter, flushed the tranny, changed out Air filter......Along with an oil change, that is all that needs to be done!

At 30K miles I had all fluids replaced, including the rear diff. If you're doing lots of towing or have high hp, this is an absolute must.

I am at 80K miles on a 2005 Supercrew 4x4. All I've done was change the oil every 5K miles, Changed the brakes and fuel filter once. How screwed will I be. Runs fine. Might need another brake change. Oh and just changed the battery.

Going in next week to Ford for transmisson service 60,000K. Told the CSR that I need a tranny flush. The CSR told me I should really have the filter changed aswell. I say I heard you do not need to change the filter just flush the fliud. CSR no you have to change the filter. So I ask you guys do i need to change the filter or just a flush? I do pull a TT 5 times out of the year.

If Manuel is your mechanic, go somewhere else. 100K means a PITA plug replacement.
