There's a TSB for detonation, and having a dealer that's willing to go the extra mile also helped, especially just before my factory warranty runs out. Was the truth stretched a little? Perhaps, but the dealer made me a happy customer and if they were willing to do it, I wasn't turning it down.

Oh, the tranny service landed up being $168. I'm not complaining though, especially after the way they took care of me.

I'll likely be getting a Ford ESP anyway. I've never not gotten one, and when I've needed to use them, my favorite dealer, or any other Ford dealers I've been to, have always taken care of me.

I can't say I've ever had the same great service with my GM's like I've had with my Fords, in fact GM service was pretty damn **** poor. It often lead to me becoming somewhat belligerent before getting the service I deserved.
