tried out an RTI ramp today

went to a local 4x4 show in town. they had an rti ramp set up so i gave it a try. i only scored a 410, but with a long wheelbase it's hard to score good. just did it to have some fun. on to the pics....

very clean looking truck...I love how the right rear stuffs like it did.

now imagine a SCrew doing that without the lift. I wonder what that would look like

very cool.

That would make me fairly nervous though. What is the trick to it? What type of suspension would you need to take it to the top (if possible)?

They take your wheelbase measurement and the distance you can travel up the ramp with all 4 tires still touching the ground (in his case, how far he can go up the ramp without lifting the drivers side rear tire off the ground), do some math, a voilla, you have an RTI score.

1000 would be getting you rear tire to the ramp.

Basically, he had 41% of his wheelbase on the incline.

Beat me to it.

its very possible to get to the top. just takes a of travel and articulation. short wheelbase helps a lot also.

this guy scored over 1000 his rear tire was about 2 feet past the ramp. sitting on 44s with his sway bar disconnected

another couple jeep guys playing around. the red one won the best in show and best in class(my class). a sweet looking ride though
