I know that its possible to add the XLT console to a regualar cab F150. But would it look funny having the cup holders in the back of the console when no one would be in a back seat using them? Also how hard is it to reach the back cup holders, do you have to get in a weird position to get to it? Also i plan on adding leather seats to my truck and im guessing it would be easier to wrap the console with leather/vinyl then my jump seat. If anyone has pictures can you please add them so i can see what an an XLT console will look like in an regular cab. Thanks.

 

Interesting. I too have the reg cab. I was thinking of doing this awhile back but had not given the cup holders a 2nd thought. Good point.

 

i am at work and dont have any pictures but the "rear" cup holders dont seem out of place to me. i often use them for small things i fear will get lost in the console (its huge) like my porsche keys. you will however have people comment on the number of drink holders. i have 8. one in each door, the two by the transfer case shifter, and the four in the console.

 

The previous gen F-150 had a reg cab with a console. It also sported "rear" cup holders and did not look weird or out of place IMO. Do it!

 

Thanks guys. Thats what I needed to know. I feel very confindent in doing this mod.....All I need to do is find a console.lol. Preferably local from a totaled f150 in or around town.
