Level Kit Installed

I went to my parents house over the weekend and decided to try and tackle the level kit with my brother. He said we could use a bay over at Ingram Truck and Body that a friend of his owns. Im glad we did because it would have been alot harder without the impact wrenches. We followed the write up on here and it took us just shy of 3 hours to put on. Two for the first and one for the second. Heres a before and after pic. I can also add to the group that say you get 3'' of lift with a 2.5 kit. Glad I went with it instead of a 2". I also added a pic of a Screw Flare that me and my wife saw. I had always thought they were a figment of my imagination, but now I have proof.

Looks great! I had my girlfriend help me put mine on in the garage at my house - it took awhile, but definitely worth doing on my own. So much more satisfying!

What's next for your truck?

EDIT: That last pic of your truck is sweet - nice photography skills!

Its amazing how a $80 part can make a truck so much nicer looking. I installed my leveling kit last weekend.

I wanna do it.. Its just that If I level it, I HAVE to have bigger tires. Waiting for the OEMs to wear out...

Do it shines. It looks fine with the stockers. Especially with the 20's you have. If you need any help doing it let me know.

Have you looked into your gas mileage decreasing with the lift?

Yeah the gas mileage decrease will only really happen once the new rubber is installed. If you just level it and leave the tires alone you just make minor aerodynamic changes that are not enough to be noticed. Jimbeam how did your install go? Hand tools only?

I did it in my buddies grandpa's garage with air tools. It was very easy. I drank 6 beers while installing it and it still only took me and my buddy about 2.5 hours.

I am telling you it looks WAY better even with my stock 18's. It just gets rid of that crappy low front end that comes stock.

Did you get a front end alignment? What size did you do? I might not do more than a 2 inch.

Nope. I still avg 19.8 on the two hour trip home, and 1/3 of that was through Atlanta.

Custom vinyls. Designing them right now and haveing them printed is deffinitely in my budget range.

I havent yet. But will this week. There was 3 inches difference in height between the front and rear. I used a 2.5 AutoSpring and there is less than 1/16 of difference now. Some people say that anything over 2 puts a bad angle on the ball joint but I dont think it looked too bad and I dont really off road anyway. So Im not worried about it.
