Question

Last night I visited northland ford, test drove a 2008 xlt longbed. Sticker price $31.5K, They offered it to me for $24K in about ten minutes. About $7500 below sticker. Anybody do any better than that lately? Sounds like a good deal!

i do not know about prices for the longbed, but i know here in dallas every dealer has been advertising 2008 xlt supercrews for 19k.... i do not know what features other than 4.6, but that still gives you an idea as thats a price before even talking to them, so you could prob. get one for cheaper.

I bought my 08 Reg Cab STX in April. stickered 24K, 7K upside down on trade (Lease), walked out with just under 20K financed for the new truck. It came with some dealer add ons too.

I bought my 08 FX4 Supercrew at the beginning of this month. I paid 5k under invoice. MSRP was 38150, out the door I financed right around 33 and some change.

Just bought a "stripper" three weeks ago. Could not pass up incentives. I came off-lease on a '06 F150 scab 4wd xlt, so it was an adjustment, but I am liking this truck more each week. I'm happy with my purchase so far. As with everyone else, the gas prices scared me abit, but hard to pass on the lowest price of a new vehicle (car or truck). If I have to get rid of it I figure someone somewhere is going to need a basic work truck (but am hoping I don't need to!) If you have to drive something, for me it has to be a truck, and preferably a Ford!
