i know its a stupid question.. but whats the difference in the front ends, like the fog styles round vs rectangle?

 

04-05, rectangular fogs, and have their own bumper. 06-08, round fogs, and have their own bumper.

 

ahhh, i see.. then my neigboor lied!! he has the exact truck as mine just not 4x4 and he has the rectangulars and told me it was an 06 also.. that basterd!! lol hes just mad cuz my trucks taller lol

it bolts up differently to the frame. an 04-05 bumper will not fit an 06-08, but i remember someone saying you could bolt the 06-08 bumper to an 04-05 with a little modding?

 

My dad has an 06 frame with 04-05 bumpers. theres always a way to make it work

Yes, they are different, as others have stated. The bumpers are different as well as the mounting brackets. However, it can be done. Mine's an 04, and check out the bumper....

 

i know lol, the guys coo and all but i guess he gets mad cua hes a nurse and hes older than me, and when i got my truck he told me why i copied him and all i said was, 4x4 buudy, didnt copy..

and the bumpers are different.. the 04-05 dont have the perfect enclosed lower grill, the top part is like missing or something
