Ford ESP Warranty?

Thats two years more than you already have now. Why not wait till your warranty is almost up, see what condition your truck is then, if you still want it or not, and then decide on getting a ESP. Who knows, after 5 years you might be sick of it.
I have a 2007 as well that I purchased last July and I just turned 3400 miles on it. I'll decide if I need an ESP in about 4 years.

I have a 2004 Lariat with 15xxx miles Before my mfg warrenty expired I purchased a ford esp premium care for $785.00 36000 Miles or the year 2010 I have used it one time My 4 wheel drive would not engage It turned out that the t/c had to be fixed The bill was $651.00 I paid $100.00 So if you are not putting on any miles on your trucks like me I would go for a ford esp

It is worth it, but only if you use it. I'm kinda impartial to extended warranties; if you need it, great, it's there, but if you don't, then meh. Another option would be to save the cash, whatever it'd cost to buy the warranty, and put a little aside every week/month/whatever as a "stuff happens" fund for your truck. That way, further on down the road if you have some kind of failure, you got money to pay for it, no problem, and if you don't you've got money in the bank gaining interest. Win/win.

I've never had an F-150 repair out of warranty that exceeded the cost of an extended warranty. If you don't have to use the extended warranty, you just wasted your money. My disposable income is better off making 13% in my money market account.
On the other hand, if I was one to put 15,000+ miles on a truck per year, I'd probably get the ESP. Something expensive is gonna let go sooner than later.

Also keep in mind that if you sell the truck and didn't use any of your warranty you get a refund. I just traded my 06 in for an 08 and was refunded the difference off the 06
The one thing you have to remember is that all an extended warranty is, is it's insurance and basically a roll of the dice.
