My brother has an 04 Powerstroke on 38.5 inch tires with exhaust, otherwise completely stock, and I can't catch him. If I wanted a race car I would have bought a 'vette.

if i wanted a race car i would hop in my race truck(yes an actual race truck similar to the craftsman trucks but rangers and s10's and tacomas...)

though a great, long lasting engine, the 7.3s are dogs. Trying beating a modded 6.0 or Dmax 6.6

I raced a stock duramax work truck once, I smoked him lol it was my buddies and we were playin around. I owned an 06 Cummins before I got into this f-150 and I had an afe stage 2 intake, 4" straight Pipe and an Edge chip with the hot unlock code and that thing would run the 1/4 mile in the low 14's it was a quick sob

Pulling out all the numbers comparing the two trucks don't mean s***,it all depends on the drivers.

Drivers????All you gotta do is stomp the gas, theres no changing gears

On a side note Ive rode in a Dmax w/ 37's and theres no way in hell My truck would come close to it. Some things you just gotta see to believe

I settled a dispute over who's truck was faster one night after work last year with a co-worker.

MY truck: 5.4 regular cab, 4.10 gears, intake, exhaust efans, UD pullies, and custom tune.

His: Bone stock Duramax regular cab 4X4.

It wasn't even a race. Both times, I told him to do the honking so he could get that "split second" head start and I smoked the doors off of it to about 80MPH both times.

[hr]
A few months ago, I lined up with a Cummins 4 door truck with Banks stickers on it at a stop light. I almost lost.

Went green and we both nailed it and I just sat there spinnin' my tires. Let out and planted the throttle and caught up at about 55-60 MPH with black smoke in my face. I passed him.

With traction, it would have been a discrace on Cummins. But that was with the supercharger.

The slower you drive the more tag#s you can write down and turn in to the police.
