I have pics showing the truck going on the tow truck, he will pay!

Hope you have some good insurance! Glad you were not hurt.
I thought the same thing. Pretty amazing.

First off, glad to hear your ok Now, I was a little concerned when I saw the frame bent like that until I saw that it was another F150 that hit you, I felt better after that! I guess something has to give when 2 solid trucks colide!

His truck hit above the rear bumper (Spare Tire and mount) on the Jeep. Therefore not crunch zone and he hit a pretty solid, non crunching point of the Jeep. The driver of the Jeep took much more of a beating than he did as all the force was sent through the vehicle rather than being absorbed like in his truck.

holy chit!!!can you say.................totalled!
if they choose to repair your truck i wouldnt even take it back that thing is phuqued.you sir are blessed to be ok after an accident like that.were you wearing a seat belt.if you were im sure it is what kept you from further harm.i too think you should go get checked out on the insurance companies bill.i have heard alot of stories of folks getting into accidents and not getting checked and later find out something is really wrong or suffered reprocussions from it.good luck with everything and keep us posted on what happens.now is your chance to get out of a truck if you had plans to get out of it.

Yah also the spare tire itself absorbed some of booder's impact. No telling what that jeep will look like once you pull the tire off. Notice the back window is shattered. that means that the back door is tweaked pretty good.

Thanks for posting the rest of the pics.

Again glad you are okay

In the original post, the 3rd pic, you can see her back window at the base of my windshield. She (the cutie in the Jeep) took a pretty good hit but she seemed ok, just shaken up and she didn't mention any injuries when she called me today.

It's hard to tell in the pic, but her hitch was bent down pretty good.

Hope you are OK. Makes you wonder how much did the hitch actually torque the frame, and what would the damage be w/o the drawbar on.

Wow, Glad you are ok. See the Doc no matter how good you think you feel. most of the pain will come 3-5 days after the hit. The med settlement will make up for the shortage of $$ towards your new rig. Main thing is that you are sure you are ok before you settle.

Just my 2 cents from going through a similiar situation in late 2006
