Unhappy Snub nose, super short bed F150......

Got bit by the crunch mod yesterday afternoon. Came to a stop on the highway and was then plowed into, pushing me into the Jeep in front of me.

More pics to follow.....

Are you ok man? Really sorry to see this, you had a beautiful truck. Any estimate as to the speed the guy who hit ya was moving? Sure seems like alot of frame damage. The front would have ended up better off if jeeps didnt put that spare tire back there

Again, that sucks. I'm really glad you weren't more injured, that was a hell of an impact.

Wow, its amazing you were not hurt, more! I am sorry to see that, but wow that truck must have not even hit its breaks. That frame damage is pretty crazy. I hope it all gets squared away for you. And I will say wow, on your seat being bent like that, must have been a wicked impact.

I'm ok, just sore as hell. The guy in lane next to us and a few car lengths back said the white fiddy just before hitting me, had passed him doing approx. 70-75mph. So my guess would be around 60mph or so. With me being at a dead stop, the impact was pretty wicked. If it hadn't of been for the tranny cooler leaking, I would have drove that SOB home (about 4-5 miles) - just to say I did.

WOW, I cant believe how well the Jeep held up considering the damage to the front of your truck. I feel for you man I just got my truck out of the body after almost 6 weeks and $6K worth of damage. I just had damage to the right front. Unforturnatly it has to go back in. I found more damage underneath do to the ba$tard that towed it to the body shop. Cameras are great to have around. I have pics showing the truck going on the tow truck, he will pay!

Hope you have some good insurance! Glad you were not hurt.

wow....glad your ok.

I was in the exact kind of accident last summer, traffic backed up and at a dead stop and four cars coming plowing into me, but all of the other cars took the impact and I was the only one to drive away, all other cars were totaled with airbags deployed.

Looks like it is new truck time!
