Travis (KC Autosound) still in buisness?

Anybody know what's up with Travis?

Bought a CA671 setup from him with a faulty remote. Shipped it back for a new one but still hasn't returned it and it's been about 2 months now.

No email responses, not voicemail responses, what gives?

Travis, if you read this, at least ship the ****ty original one back. I'll take it up with Code Alarm directly.

I emailed him last February and then again a few weeks ago about replacing the remote for my srt6700. Never got a response.

I'm sure he is really busy but it doesn't take long to reply to an email.

I've sent a couple remotes back and when it took awhile it was usually because it was in his truck and he stumbled up on it and sent it to me, forgeting it was there. I remember last year around this time he was working lonnnnng days.

Nope it's definitely not just you. I have sent 3 emails and left two voicemails in the last couple weeks and have gotten nothing in return.

Doesn't make me feel too comfortable about dropping well over 1000 dollars with him when he can't seem to return anyones emails or phone calls. I don't doubt he's busy, but this is a bit excessive.

He is extremely busy right now guys, I have been talking to him a couple times recently with one of my issues. I have had no problems, he has been answering my emails as well. I would say just try again but I wouldn't be to excited about that if I was not getting responses. Give him time he is a good guy and he will make it right. Try contacting him through his websites question form. I have had him respond with in the first day each time I used that.

You wouldn't get too excited? He purchased something, had a problem, and has had no response in two months! I would be more than a little fired up myself!

I can understand it's the holidays but is it that hard to type a quick response to someone to say you are busy but at least acknowledge them? I have worked in three auto web companies and shops and always made sure that was done regardless of what time of year it was.

I have used both the web contact form, his direct email address, and left voicemails. No contact of any kind no matter what method I use. I am happy to support someone who specifically supports the vehicle I drive, but I shouldn't have to relentlessly contact someone to and beg them to take my money.

I still have a little time before I am 100% ready to pull the trigger on buying what I want, but I'm definitely looking at other places that answer my questions much faster and at least answer the phone.

If Travis gets as much spam as I do I wouldn't expect a reply if you email him direct. Best bet is to use his online form.

I will tell you this. I know that he has been really busy lately and he has also had to deal with a big family issue. With all of those things on his shoulders he still managed to continue to provide beyond excellent service. In my book, he doesn't deserve this negativity. I think you guys should re-reach out to him before commenting again. Also if he resolves your issues please be sure to post here again and let everyone know. We all always have a tendacy to talk about the negatives but never the positives. Just my .2 cent. Thanks a million Travis

I bought an alarm off him awhile back and he helped me get thru the install of it. Which was awesome.....that was about 1 yr ago

Ive been having problems with the remotes though over the last 6 months. I sent him an email 6 months agao and left a post on his forums. I never recieved a response.

Needless to say, I still have issues with both of my remotes.

I can't seem to get a reply for my inquiry through his website, either. That's a shame, because others say he is such a helpful guy.

He just walked me through the programming of my SRT9000 this past Sunday. He took time out of his day to spend with his family to help me out and get my system working again.

Try sending him a text or instant messaging. I called him Sunday morning and he got back to me right after church. Keep trying guys, he's still out there.
