lower profile and larger wheels=better handling and room for larger brakes, and todays trucks are all about saftey. not to mention if you actually use your truck in mud its alot easier to wash mud out of a 20 then a 17 where they damn near touch the caliper. ive actully seen rocks get wedged between the caliper and wheel and literally cut the wheel in half as it rotates or put holes in the wheel.
