New stance ala Ground Force

The weather finally cleared up here so I got around to doing a number of things including washing the truck(took me 3 hours, I love black but man does it suck to clean)
anyways.....took my running boards off ( and sold them), installed my new upper and lower stainless steel mesh grill, and installed 2" Ground Force lowering springs in the front & 2" GF shackles and shocks in the rear (courtesy of 07HD). I love the new stance, and once I get the 3d Carbon kit on I got for X-mas...it should be looking real mean. As I'm sure you can tell from the pics, I found out this weekend my right headlight is leaking, but I was too anxious to take pictures before it dried up.

-new sig in the works

I like it...I'd switch back to a PTM surround though.

I'm not sure about the grille but the shackles look GREAT!

Is your front windshield tinted?

Looks sweet! Have you thought about a different antenna?

Another vote for the black grille.
I don't like lowered trucks generally but it looks great!

Yeah I was just waiting for someone to push me to do it
The old grill was just a billet grill I painted, this one is much more classy and the bottom looks good IMO plus I'm eventually getting the Mark LT handles so I'm going to have chrome accents, not all blacked out, but I agree the grill surround will probably look better black.

Thanks guys

About the chrome grille, maybe it's just me but I see too many of those cattle fence grilles on too many vehicles down here. All types actually. Plus when I worked in a heavy machinery manufacturing plant we made protective guards that looked very much like those grilles. That has to be why I am so biased against them.

Other than that I completely love your truck!

Yeah I know what you're saying. It's actually really nice in person, it has a high shine to it, I think it is chrome plated. Looks exactly like the Strut grills you see on Escalades and Range Rovers.....the set was quite expensive, I'm not even going to say how much But thanks for the compliment

i think the black grille looked better too, but if you follow through with painting the suround and getting lt handles, the truck will look great. i just cant wait to see the 3d kit installed.

My problem with the chrome grille is not the fact its chrome. If you PTM the surround, it also looks like there is a lip of chrome around the insert. To me, this makes it look like its trying to be an Escalade Grille. Just too much bling for me. Other than that, your truck looks great.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
