Truck looks good, man. As far as taking good pictures it comes with practice and trial and error. Best thing you can do is read the manual. It explains all the settings and when it is best to use each one. You can also google some sites that explain basic photography and that should get you started!

Sweet deal, man, that's really similar to mine. I have a Sony DSC-H50. I love photography but wasn't quite ready for a digital SLR when I bought it.

Yeah just google photography tips and you will be off to a good start. One big rule to follow is called the rule of thirds. If you split your picture into nine boxes (two vertical, two horizontal lines), try to keep the focus of your picture (ie-your truck) on as many of the lines as possible. In general this makes for a better photograph.

Yeah man we have a camera between a regular point-and-shoot and digital SLR. They are a higher end point-and-shoot.

Yeah man that was me. Lights were too expensive at the time. Plus I like the clean front end of these trucks.

It's not the camera that takes good picture, it's in knowing how to setup and frame a good picture. We have a lot of talent on this site, I know because I've seen the pictures.

There is a lot to taking a good picture, but most of it is following simple rules which can be found in photography books. The rest come with experience and practice. I myself have studies the photography books, forgot most of what I learned, but still understand the basics. I'm not sure what the trick is to taking a good picture of a truck.

I do think it would be interesting if we could get some ideas bouncing around?
