Hey guys....Tryin to decide what i should get for my birthday present. around the $500 range.
Hoping to get a lift and tires this summer.
Not sure what to get? possible roush hood scoop or rear speakers. What do you guys suggest? Thinking of selling my edge and getting a new chip also.

Trade the edge for a gryphon from PHP, then get yourself some custom tunes for it from them. Can't go wrong.

I would stay away from the hood scoop, especially if your going to be lifting this summer. Do you still have those ricer taillights? If so maybe some new tails. The rear speakers wouldn't be a bad idea, maybe some interior or audio upgrades?

For something cheap I would say go with Mark LT handles with PTM surround and 50/50 chrome & PTM mirrors would go good with your front end...

x2 on the Taillights... gotta go if you gonna do all chrome up front

Maybe an efan setup...

It is basically the same, but the custom tuning is what makes it so much better than the canned edge. The gryphon still comes with three canned tunes, but when the custom tunes are done you download them with the supported software.

Check the tuner forum here if you want better answers. There are lots of knowledgeable members in there.

I'll most likely be going back to stock tail lights...
my line of fire broke also..

My interior is pretty complete..have some leds, aftermarket head unit, subs, amp etc

Maybe intake? worth it ya think guys?

I'd love to get a hood in the long run but after buying one, shipping, painting etc it'd be close to a grand.

Maybe just save up for the lift/tires

i've considered the lt handles but kinda a fan of the black

a custom tune will give you way more HP and your truck will be much faster, even much more than a canned tune, you will feel the difference b/w the two. i think its $25 to trade to a gryphon then $50, not sure if prices have changed or not.

I like the intake idea!!....BUT, if you're not doing it yourself it may cast a bit more than 500.00

HIDs.

I'd personally save it for future modification plans that you said you had.

Now that I think of it, let me ask you this. Is this 500 of your own money or from someone else? You may want to contemplate like Darren said, saving it and putting it towards your lift in the summer?
