that is what everyone tells me

I dont think rize is ever going to release the trac bars for the F150 so I may get money back from that and skip um. Saving money is just so hard for me I have got to start soon though..

you selling the truck outright, or a take over payments thing?

I'm at 300+ at the wheels for only $2,750.00...and another $500 will get me at about 350 at the wheels, but the important # is the 500+ torque at the wheels
but 300 RWHP seems extremely low with a modded 6.0 and built trans. The LS1 with a cam swap and tuning lays down 300+ RWHP

btw, when you figure in how much you've spent modding your 07, how much will this Silvy really cost you?
the silverado will cost me alot less. unsure if you know gm or not, you can transplant a 6.0 in place of the 4.8, with no cutting or anything, everything clips right in, just need a new computer, pretty slick, the 4l60 will work, but life depends on how bad it's abused, 4l80 will be in the works if i destroy the built 4l60 too quick. a friend is doing the trans for cost. 06 hood and grille, 350 getting that next week. got alot of chevy buddy's and get some good deals. i was half asleep last night when i typed 300, i meant 400. i am looking to put a Denali motor in it, 800 bucks for a turnkey motor with 44k miles, pretty good deal IMO. i wanna all motor, superchargers seen to have issues with the extreme temps up here. it should be super easy to get 400 out of it. i am selling it outright, but now i got 2 guys who want it, 24grand is what i got for it

if you do only run 33's i think 300 hp to the wheel will be easy, what year 6.0 are you going to install?
like i said before, running 6.0 from a denali/esky

We have an 03 chevy on the ranch and it is quite a problematic truck. I personally think you downgraded. But hey its your decision, not mine. Good luck with it.
every truck has a weak link and using a 1/2 ton for ranching is just asking to find those weak spots. i am digging the roller skate look, i may go with 20x10 just be of the heat, but we will

thanks for the comments guys, i am just sick of keeping it clean, not playing with it, and i just the 2000 fit me better, the seats in the ford still bug me. but the real reason is i'm bored with it.

Good luck with the new truck. I like some of the Chevy's as well. Been tossing around the idea of trading mine in for a new model RC as well and doing a 6.0 swap. Talked to a guy last night that has a 6.0 longblock that needs a rebuild for around 350.

Anyway, you should still post up over here and keep us updated on the new project.

now that sounds a bit more like I was expecting from a 6.0

I wish Ford was 1/2 as easy as Chevy to do motor swaps and whatnot. I've helped alot of buddies with the LS1 to 6.0 swap, so yeah, I know what you mean about how easy it is.

hope everything works out like you want...and don't be a stranger around here if it does
