My new truck!

Just got this yesterday, 06 XLT 4x4 with 46k on the clock. I absolutely love it, I had a 04 Ranger before and this beats it in every way.

I have a MBRP dual exhaust, Access Vanish Tonneau and 09 emblems on the way for it. I'm not going mod heavy on this truck like I did my Ranger but its going to be kept clean instead.

Beautiful truck, congrat's. Level it and go with larger tires and leave it like that.

Nice looking truck. Lots of luck with it.

This thread will help you figure out some stuff about your '06 and there is even a link to get a .PDF file of the original window sticker (only seems to work on 06 and newer).

Just like my '06 xlt, I noticed from your pictures that you also have that useless compartment below the cigarette lighter.

Nice truck. Since it's an 06 with 46K on it and a 5.4, get the plugs changed soon. You have no idea how the previous owner took care of it.

Yeah I have a good friend that is a ford tech and he told me to change the plugs as well. I'm kind of nervous about doing it myself so I might bring it in to the dealership and just have them do it.

I ran a can of K44 before doing my plugs and with 42k on mine when I did it, they all came out without breaking (lots of creaking though). What ranger websites were you on before? I moved up from my '03 ranger to my current '04 FX4. 325s on a stock wheel?

Congrats! I just traded up to an 06 Scab, same color as yours, from a Gold 2000 Scab. This 06 is a much nicer truck, I love it! I also have that useless compartment under the power port. I plan on a leveling kit and 35's, but I have already put on a new set of 285/70/17 just to get me through the winter. So no new tires for another 50,000 miles. Nice truck, small trucks like the Ranger just don't compare!

I was on all of them, 04blackedge. I remember you, retrofitted the HIDs in the 01+ heads right?
