Yeah, had to have it, just couldn't work out of 6' bed. Took me 4 months to find a scab with an 8' bed when I bought this truck almost 4 years ago. Didn't see but a few of these at the dealerships back then and you don't see many of them at the dealerships now.

Okay... so it is a long bed. A lot of guys don't know that there are 3 bed lengths, a short bed (5 1/2 ft) a standard bed (6 1/2 ft) and a long bed (8 ft) available.

I will say, your Supercab with a long bed, looks much better than a standard cab, long bed. Those are basically only bought as work trucks. I think those look really weird and goofy, but then I don't think hardly anyone buys those for looks.

I won't be shy about it though I think the best, most "truck like" looking bed to cab ratio, is an Supercab, with a standard 6 1/2 ft bed (mine ) Supercrews with 5 1/2 ft beds (by far the most popular, among guys who buy, at least partially, for looks) look like a little too much cab, and not quite enough bed to me. I think those guys shoulda' bought a Sport Trac, or a Honda Ridgeline ;-) LOL

But what do I know ? My truck is brown ;-) LOL

Peace,
Fish

I almost bought one... my Dad had an 85 F150 with an extended cab and 8 foot bed. So I drove that one around a lot when I was young. But when I asked the dealer about looking at one he said "what would you want that for, are you a farmer?"

I did drive one... but then I ended up settling for the 6.5 foot bed for my truck. Good thing I did... the longer bed wouldn't have fit in the garage for the house I ended up buying!

But I do like the look of the long beds. Trucks are meant to have 8 foot beds.
