Buying new truck....price check?

Hey everyone!
the stealership has a super clean 2WD silver 2006 F150 XLT with 30,000 miles on it. It has the rear DVD system and 22" rims and tire combo along with the 2" leveling lift. Its a supercrew with the 5.5' bed they are asking 21,500 for it which i am obviously not going to pay...just wondering what yall would offer to start out with.....thanks

Just wondering, the 2" leveling kit is on the front end to bring it up, or the rear to drop it?

Not too sure on a price because I pay attention more to 4wd prices but I would guess a decent price would be...17k, no more. The 22s nice? Tires good? (they are not too cheap to replace).

In April I got a 2007 4X4 F150 XLT Supercab with 27K miles in perfect condition listed at $19,800...I got it for $17,600. $21,500 is WAY too high. Trade in is MUCH less than that.

You're profile says you're from England? Is this number in pounds or dollars?

Sorry bout that...i am out of england now..in new mexico....the tires have about 75% tread left and the front was raised to accomodate the tire/rim combo....cant remember the name of the rims but the are chrome 5 spoke....i was thinking on trying to insult them and offering 16K and work from there....thanks for the numbers though...gives me something to work off of....my truck is paid for and i love it, i just want a supercrew and this one is a real head turner...if they dont work with me...i'll walk away....

My clean retail right now on my 06 XLT with just about the same add ons is over 24k you might just be walking away.

This of course is subject to chance ne time. Just a year ago my retail was under 17k.
In my area comparison F150's are saling for 22K up.

I paid $17K for my 2006 F150 4x4 SCAB with only 17K miles on it.

Here a few months ago Ford was selling brand new 4x4 scabs for only $23K
